Coe is the founder of The Urban Genius Foundation. He has set the foundation’s [unyielding] mission: raise $10 million dollars, as a start, in capital through creative capitalism to fund minority entrepreneurs and highlight urban genius in our communities. He is involved in the overall strategic planning and the foundations’ day to day operations.
Beasley sets the tone and editorial direction for Urban Genius Magazine. She is responsible for day-to-day operations, production and distribution of the publication. She is involved in budgeting and strategic planning for the growth of the magazine.
Beasley creates, curates and publishes content in the digital publishing industry for her own business, KaZoom Digital Publishing. The company publishes Romance Travel Magazine and both non-fiction and children’s books. Donna is also an author having written several non-fiction books.
Ms. Rice brings many years of experience in corporate brand identification, corporate communications, promotions, advertising, exhibit displays, packaging, and advertising. She has won over 30 design awards, winning top accolades. Rice was also President/CEO of her River North design studio.
OverexposureTV— Technology, Digital and Beyond is Rice’s latest venture. Along with partner Photographer/Videographer, Howard D. Simmons, Rice is executive producer, director and editor.
To Howard D. Simmons, photography is his life’s work. With Simmons creating his own commercial photography business, he has shot assignments for Coca Cola, McDonald’s, Sears, and Proctor and Gamble, to name a few.
Assignments have taken him from South Africa to Paris. Howard has been assigned to photograph both President and Michelle Obama in Chicago to include one exclusive event with the President.
As executive producer of OverexposureTV, Simmons has expanded his knowledge and experience of photography to videography, shooting over forty webisodes and music videos. Howard now joins the team of Urban Genius.
Will, is all things prototype and client product development at The Urban Genius Foundation. He is on top of, and into every granular detail of a client’s prototype evolution. Will’s primary strategy is to listen to our inventor clients, work with them with their prototype or product development to ensure it is market ready.
Carmichael is an inventor/entrepreneur dreamer himself. He is bringing his own product to market, Strike Counter Pro. He will follow that products’ success with several other product inventors from his large inventor drawing board. His entrepreneurial history started in the fitness industry as a freelance personal trainer.
A passionate bibliophile, socially adept, enthusiastic, self-directed, she shares a belief with Business Birth and The Urban Genius Foundation that there is an entrepreneur in us all! As a community organizer for women’s rights she speaks, writes, and articulates concepts which train team builders to become team leaders.
Educator, activist, and organizer. Brenda Chambers bases her pedagogy and inquiry in advancing humanity to understanding social and cultural issues in educational contexts. She is an activist who has implemented community-based educational efforts with people living in tent communities, with street youths, and among economically poor children and their families, housed and unhoused.
